This new JXD 509G aka Pioneer UFO looks almost identical with the much more expensive Typhoon Q500 from Yuneec Electric Aviation. Of course, a 10 times cheaper drone can’t offer the same build quality and professional features.
The JXD 509G drone comes with a full 5.8GHz real time image transmission system that includes a 2MP FPV camera and a FPV monitor. The FPV is self powered by a built-in reachable LI-PO battery. This is the reason why the package includes two USB charger not just one like other drone models.
Trying to imitate the Q500’s camera design, the JXD 509G’s camera has a very weird and unusual form.
Thanks to the light weight airframe, this drone has around 10 minutes of continuous playtime specified by the manufacturer. I think this long operation mode seem optimistic and hard to believe taken into consideration that is powered by a small capacity 600mAh battery.
