Application: SER is used to convey power from service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard;however it may be used in all applications where type SER cable is permitted.SER cable may be used in wet or dry locations at temperature not exceed 90,suitable for operation at 600V or less as specified in the NEC.

Construction: Conductors are AA-8000 series aluminum alloy compact stranded,SER cable assembly plus reinforcement tape are jacketed with gray sunlight resistant PVC.Available as: 2 conductors ( 2 insulated phase conductors,bare ground ); 3 conductors ( 2 insulated phase conductors,insulated neutral,bare equipment ground ); 4 conductors ( 3 insulated phase conductors,insulated neutral,bare equipment ground ).

Application: DLO is especially suited to supply power to traction motors of diesel-electric locomotives.It is also recommended as a portable cable for drilling rigs, on-shore or off-shore, railroad and transit car wiring, electric earth-moving equipment, in shipyard applications, arc welder supply leads, power and control jumper cable, telcom power supply and motor leads. The cable is suitable for use in wet or dry areas, conduits, ducts, troughs or trays, and where superior electrical properties are desired. The maximum continuous conductor temperature for normal operation is 90'C in dry locations and 75'C for wet. DLO resists oils, acids,alkalines, heat, flame, and has abrasion resistance.
Construction: Soft annealed tinned coated copper conductor,flexible stranding per AAR RP-588 and ASTM B3,B172,B174 as applicable,a suitable opaque tape as separator,flame retardant thermoset EPR insulation,black flame retardant thermoset CPE jacket.
