We’ve examined the carbon footprint, recycling potential and emissions
levels of all our materials. And we have now designed and developed our
first eco sofa.
In this sofa we've used:
- no petroleum-based products – polyurethane, synthetic latex, silicon,
polyester or any kind of plastic
- no surfaces from wood particles (chipboard, hardboard, plywood, etc.)
which are known to emit formaldehyde
- no glues
- no synthetic textiles or synthetically treated ones
- no wood - as we believe that forest preservation is a common
responsibility.
We made the green sofa frame from pure steel – a fully recyclable material which guarantees strength, durability and comfort. We dressed the frame in recycled cardboard and cotton wadding.
We filled the back rests with cotton gauze.
We designed a special set of springs for the seats.
We used no glues.
We covered the sofa with a layer of pure cotton and upholstered it with high-quality cotton-and-linen upholstery.
We finished the metal legs in glass-ceramics, a material used in kitchen containers and boilers.

Carbonization furnace EKKO For environmentally friendly carbonization of carbonaceous raw materials, including firewood, energy wood, wood waste, shells of various nuts (coconut, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.) in order to obtain charcoal.
