Welded Wire Concrete Reinforcement
Welded wire concrete reinforcement is made of steel bars arranged in two mutually perpendicular directions and connected by resistance spot welding. Reinforcing mesh is used to add structural strength to reinforced concrete structures and asphalt. Applications
Construction. Welded reinforcing mesh is widely used for the reinforcement of concrete structures. In this case, welded reinforcing mesh is laid inside the poured concrete formwork (under the slab, poured frame foundation slab) and is used to increase the strength of the formed concrete structure.
Fabrication of frames.
Reinforcement of road surfaces or parking lots, so welded reinforcing mesh is called road reinforcing mesh (5-6 mm).
Manufacture of various fences.
Used as masonry mesh (3-4 mm wire).
Used as coal mine support mesh for coal mine tunnel support.
