Character: It is colorless or white odorless little flakes or crystalline powder. It has hygroscopicity. Relative density is 1.335. Melting point is 132.7â??(decompose). Itâ??s soluble in water, ethanol and benzene, almost insoluble in aether and chloroform.
Usage: It is used as yeast food and gum confection improver. It also can be used in ethanol drinks, glutin products, wines and yeast fermented baking products.
Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25 kg
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse; kept away form water and moisture during transport; unloaded with care, so as to avoid damage to bags. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
