These are collapsible pocket magnifiers. The optical system is a single element, glass Double Convex Lens. The housing is made of machined, black high grade plastic for a high finish look. These magnifier fold flat to fit in your pocket. Scales are etched on the inner faces of the viewers base

Double-convex lens, also named bi-convex lens, is most suitable where the object and image are on opposite sides of the lens and the ratio of the object (conjugate ratiio) distances is between 0.2 to 5. It is used in beam expanders, projection optics systerms, optical viewers ect.

Nodal Slide Assembly

Consistsof the following items

a)� Nodal Upright: Consists of a combinaon of Single & double lens holder on amount rotang along the vercal axis. The combinaon lens holders are adjustable in height, and the single & twin lens holders can either be moved together by rack & pinion or relave to each other by sliding. These moons can be read by individual pointers on a mm scale.

b)� Mirror: Plain, inclinable with 3â?? steel C.P. Stem

 

c) Optical Slit: With fine machined cross slit, one surface white & the other opcal black, with 3â?? steel C.P. Stem

d) Lamp House: an electric bulb is encased in a metal case with cord & pin. It works on 220VAC.
