Dry diamond polishing pads are essential tools used in various industries, primarily for polishing stone surfaces such as granite, marble, and concrete. Unlike traditional wet pads, these are designed for dry applications, eliminating the need for water during the polishing process.

We offer two types of DRY diamond polishing pads from 50 grit to 3000 grit with buff pads: traditional honeycomb type dry diamond polishing pads and our own resin bond dry diamond polishing pads. Honeycomb-type dry diamond polishing pads are more aggressive than resin-bonded pads. However, our resin bond dry diamond polishing pads are 2.5mm in thickness and last considerably longer than traditional dry pads. These pads work great for both marble and granite, leaving no colors on stone surfaces. The resin bond dry diamond polishing pads are also superior for polishing concrete. The maximum speed for our dry diamond polishing pads is 4500 RPM. We will not be responsible for any quality issues if you use a high-speed grinder with any of our pads.

What are Dry Diamond Polishing Pads?
Dry diamond polishing pads are specialized tools embedded with diamond particles, allowing them to grind and polish hard surfaces. 1. Diamond Abrasive: The primary feature of these pads is the diamond abrasive, which provides superior grinding and polishing capabilities.

2. Flexible Design: Most dry diamond polishing pads are flexible, allowing them to conform to various surface contours, making them suitable for both flat and curved surfaces.

3. Heat Resistance: These pads are designed to handle the heat generated during the dry polishing process, preventing damage to the pad and the surface.

4. Multiple Grit Levels: Dry diamond polishing pads come in various grit levels, typically ranging from coarse (30-50 grit) to ultra-fine (3000 grit), allowing for different stages of polishing from rough grinding to fine polishing.

Uses of Dry Diamond Polishing Pads
Stone Polishing: These pads are commonly used for polishing natural stones like granite, marble, and quartz. They help achieve a high-gloss finish without the need for water.
Concrete Polishing: Dry diamond pads are also used in concrete polishing, helping to smooth and shine surfaces, especially in decorative concrete applications.
Tile and Countertop Finishing: Contractors use these pads to polish and finish tile edges, countertops, and other stone-based surfaces in homes and commercial spaces.

What are diamond polishing pads used for?
Diamond polishing pads contain industrial diamonds bonded with resin, and are used to polish marble, granite, terrazzo, concrete, limestone and sandstone to a smooth, glass-like finish with a series of steps starting with the lowest grit to the highest grit.



How to Polish a Surface Using a Diamond Polishing Pad?
Getting a high-gloss polished surface is a long process that requires time and patience. For best results, don't skip any steps.

1. Purchase a set of quality diamond polishing pads and backing pads.

2. Mount the backing pad to your variable speed wet/dry grinder.

3. Make sure your work surface is securely fixed and will not slide.

4. Mount the 50-grit sandpaper to the grinder and start polishing from left to right at a low speed of less than 1,000 RPM. Polish until most of the saw marks and scratches on the surface are removed.

5. Switch to a 100-grit polishing pad and repeat the same process. You should not see any visible saw marks or scratches after completing this step.

6. Switch to 200-grit and repeat the process.

7. Switch to 400-grit sandpaper and repeat this step. After completing this step, you should see the granite begin to shine.

8. Gradually increase to 800, 1,000, 1,500 grit. You will see a shiny, gleaming surface.

9.Sand with 1,500 grit sandpaper. At this point, you will see a shiny, glassy surface.

Bush Hammer
Bush hammer tools create a bush-hammered profile on concrete, & ideal for use on exterior spaces and creating anti-slip surfaces. They also work great for removal of coatings when prepping the floor for epoxy application.

These aggressive concrete texturing tools can be used on any most of the grinders on the market. Bush hammers are not recommended for use with high rpm machines, such as LAVINA propane machines. typically, you should use bush hammers with no more than 700 rpms.
