ZTF forming process

I. What is ZTF?

ZTF is a kind of forming technology developed by Zhongtai Company in 2005, which absorbed advanced technology from both domestic and international, and then earn �??Technology Innovation Award�?? by China Cold Forming Steel Association.

ZTF Characteristics:

Do not need to change moulds in breakdown section, saving about 60% cost on the rolls
Roll changing time is cut down greatly, breakdown section does not need to change moulds and just adjust is ok. And it can cut-down producing period.
Release labor intensity.
Roll forming technolog y, the caliber is different and propitious for X70,N80 steel strip.
5) The steel strip is
distorted and beared more reasonably, to reduce the rub between the strip and roller, and also reduce the waste of the roller.
6)It is easier to restore and adjust roller.

II. Where is ZTF used?

ZTF technology is used in breakdown section and only suit to produce round pipes.

III. What is breakdown section and what is fin-pass section?

Normally, we part the mills as forming section and sizing section.
The section before guild-frame is forming and the rest part is sizing section.
For ZTF, we divide forming section into breakdown section and fin-pass section. The part after the unit of vertical rolls is fin-pass section and before is breakdown section.

Bath Material is the electrolyte used in the Hall-Haroult process to produce primary aluminium. It's also known as Secondary Cryolite, Crushed Bath, Bath Cryolite, Pure Bath, Bath and tapped Bath Material.

During the aluminium smelting process, surplus Bath Material can be generated because of high Sodium (Na) content in the alumina. This surplus is tapped in a liquid form and then crushed to be reused to start up new pots or to compensate for electrolyte losses.

Bath Material can also be used in aluminium scrap recycling as well as in a number of other processes such as in the manufacture of glass, enamel, ceramics and more.
