Four row cylindrical roller bearings as rolling mill bearings are mainly used on rolling mill stands, calenders and roller presses. The four rows of rollers lends itself to carry large radial loads, but no thrust capacity, for the given bearing cross section. Four row cylindrical roller bearings are separable, the rings and rolling elements could be separated, it is convenient to wash, check, mount and dismount. Four-row cylindrical roller bearing can only bear radial load; therefore, they must be installed with groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, it will be the latter which bear the axial load. our row cylindrical roller bearings are classified into FC, FCD, FCDP types.

Type FC four row cylindrical roller bearing consists of two outer rings and one inner ring, which have two ribs on outer rings, a center rib in the middle, and the inner ring without rib.

Essentially, type FCD four row cylindrical roller bearing is formed by two type NN type of double row cylindrical roller bearings, so it has double outer rings, double inner rings, and the inner ring without rib.

Type FCDP four row cylindrical roller bearing consists of two outer rings and two inner rings, which have two ribs on outer rings.

Type FC, FCD and FCDP four row cylindrical roller bearings permit axial displacement in double directions of the housing relative to the shaft. Therefore, they are suitable to be used as non-locating bearings. Normally, their cages are made from solid machinery.
