Properties: The product is a white crystalline powder or a sandy-size granularity, and a pinkish crystalline powder or a sandy-size granularity as well. Usage and Dosage:
1. Industrially: ferrous sulphate heptahydrate is mainly used as a precursor to other iron compounds. It is a reducing agent, for the reduction of chromate in cement.
2. Nutritional Supplement: Together with other iron compounds, ferrous sulphate is used to fortify foods and treat iron-deficiency anemia.
