Silica brick is a refractory product containing SiO2 as a main component. Its SiO2 content is generally not less than 93%. Silica brick is an acidic refractory material. It has strong resistance to acid slag and good resistance to oxides such as CaO, FeO and Fe2O3. However, it has poor resistance to alkaline slag erosion and is easily oxidized by Al2O3, K2O and Na2O. Destruction by the action of matter. The softening temperature of the silicon brick load is as high as 1640~1680�°C, and the long-term use volume is stable under high temperature. However, silica bricks have poor thermal shock resistance and high refractoriness.
When using silica bricks, pay attention to two points: when the silica brick is at 200~300�°C and 573�°C, the volume suddenly expands due to the crystal transformation. Therefore, the temperature rise below 600 �°C in the oven should not be too fast, when it is cooled to below 600 �°C. Dramatic temperature changes should be avoided; as far as possible not in contact with the alkaline slag.

Silica bricks are the main species of silica-based refractories, where the mass fraction of sio2 is not less than 93%. Silica brick is a typical acid refractory bricks, the acid slag has a good resistance to al2o3, feo, fe2o3 and other oxides also has good resistance, but the resistance to alkaline slag is poor, easy to cao, k2o, na2o and other oxides and damage. Silicone brick softening temperature as high as l640-1680 â??, long-term use at high temperatures more stable. But the thermal resistance of silicon brick is poor, refractoriness is not high enough.

Fused silica brick has better thermal shock resistance, much lower thermal expansion, and can be used to do hot repair.
Fused Silica Brick for Hot Repair of Coke Oven is similar to general silica brick, but it has better thermal shock resistance.
The property of fused silica brick is similar to general silica brick, but it has better thermal shock resistance, much lower thermal expansion and it can stand suddenly change of temperature. It also can be heated in very short time after buildup and do not need to calculate thermal expansion. So we can directly use its cold size for masonry.




Put on wooden pallets, tightened with iron stripes, covered with plastic bag, warped with film, shipped in pallet by container. Do corner protection and other measures to avoid products from breaking. And these packages should be under ISPM standard.

Silica brick has good corrosion resistance to glass liquid. It is the preferred refractory for crown construction of glass melting furnaces, in terms of cost, strength and of defect potential.
