There are two kinds of quality for the 100% spun polyester sewing thread: Ring Twsited quality and Two-For-One(TFO)twisted quality.
100% Ring Spun Polyester Sewing Thread
After spinning process, the single yarns aren't connected with air-splicer and then twisted on ring twisting machines. The finished winding process is generally carried on the domestic finish winding machines. It is used for regular sewing machines and now still takes up very big part in the market.
Advantage: Lower cost if considering about the thread only; suitable for regular sewing machines.
Disadvantage: Possible frequent breaking because of hand-made knots or uneven lubrication.
100% TFO Spun Polyester Sewing Thread
After spinning process, the singles yarns are connected with air-splicer, and then doubled on advanced SSM machines and twisted on Two-For-One twisting machines. It is knotless and is endowed with approximately ideal effect of gloss, low hairiness and smooth-touch. The finish winding process is suggested to be carried on advanced finished winding machines to get even lubrication. The cost is higher tha n the common Ring spun polyester sewing thread for about 15-20%.
Advantage: suitable for high-speed sewing machines; perfect sewability
Disadvantage: Higher cost if considering about the thread only
Specifications: 20/2, 20/3, 24/2, 26/3, 30/2, 30/3, 40/2, 42/2, 43/2, 44/2, 45/2, 50/2, 50/3, 60/2, 60/3, 80/2, 80/3, etc.
Length on finished cones can be made according to clients' requests, such as 5000meters, 5000yards, 500grams, etc.
Colors can be dyed from our color card or your own color card or color samples.
We can provide Raw White in hank, or dyed thread on paper cone or plastic dyeing tubes, finished cones with lubrication.
