Fingerroot, also known as Chinese ginger, Chinese key, Chinese-keys is the low herb which creeps in soil. It has rhizomes which is thick, aromatic and yellow brown of size 5-30 x 0.5-2 cm in size. The petiole of the plant is hairless, grooved and 7-16 cm long. Leaves are lanceolate and erect in shape with pointed tip and smooth surface. The leaves have light green color of 5-11 cm wide. The flowers are pink to yellow to white which is tubular and 50-52 mm. It grows in lowland tropical regions. The flowering time occurs in January to February and April to June. It grows well in humid and hot climate. Fingerroot is native to Southeast Asia and China but also cultivated in India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.

Fingerroot is a medicinal as well as culinary herb also called Chinese ginger that is native to China and Southeast Asia. As the shape of rhizome resembles fingers, it has got named as fingerroot. It is known as krachai in Thai. This plant belongs to Zingiberaceae family. This plant is either perennial or biennial that has tall leaves and pink to purple flowers.

USES
Fingerroot is a vital ingredient used in many Asian countries and also used as a condiment in food. Traditionally it is used for the treatment of various illnesses as a tonic for childbirth, preventive remedy for leucorrhea and beauty aid for teenage girls. Rhizomes are used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Leaves are used for alleviating poisoning and allergies. It is also used to cure infections. The study shows that the isolated bioactive compounds found in fingerroot helps to treat various diseases. It is used to accelerate the development of stronger drugs to counteract diseases in future.

Finger root is available year-round.

Since SIZEOMNI 40S is cationic can be used in combination with weakly cationic auxiliaries. For adding SIZEOMNI 40S, the pH of solution should be 4.
For enhance the SIZEOMNI 40S performance, cationic fixing agent should be required.
Application of SIZEOMNI 40S in the size press changes the wet ability of the paper and reduces its water absorption.
The presence of aluminium ions in the base paper is not necessary for obtaining optimum results. Since SIZEOMNI 40S is cationic, it cannot be applied in the size press with fluorescent whiteners and normal dyes or basic dyes. Only cationic dyes can be added in the solution.
The normal drying temperatures on the paper machine are sufficient to develop full sizing. No additional curing period is required.
SIZEOMNI 40S has good stability in the presence of large quantities of electrolytes.

SIZEOMNI 40S can be added batch-wise to the starch solution storage tank as well as continuously in the operating tank or the feeding pipe to the size press.
SIZEOMNI 40S is low foaming, so defoamers are normally not required.

Propylene carbonate (molecular formula: C4H6O3) is a colorless, odorless, flammable liquid. Miscible with ether, acetone, benzene, chloroform, vinyl acetate, etc., soluble in water and carbon tetrachloride. It has a strong ability to absorb carbon dioxide and is stable in nature. In industry, it is obtained by adding propylene oxide and carbon dioxide under a certain pressure, and then distilling under reduced pressure. It can be used as oily solvent, spinning solvent, olefin, aromatic hydrocarbon extractant, carbon dioxide absorber, dispersant for water-soluble dyes and pigments, etc.

The PRS-B0950 steel, PRS-B0960 and PRS-B0962 Plastic Curing Tanks are designed for curing concrete cubes and cylinders. The temperature can be adjusted and can be kept constant by an electric resistance incorporating a digital thermo regulator which maintains the set temperature between ambient to 40 ºC with ± 2 ºC accuracy.

The PRS-B0950 is manufactured from powder coated sheet steel. Suitable upper racks to hold concrete cubes are available on request (max. 8 pieces). PRS-B0960 and PRS-B0962 tanks have a bearer metal carcass.

The PRS-B0952 should be ordered separately.
