Silicone rubber are generally named:
Two-component room temperature vulcanization silicone rubber , a kind of elastic silicone rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation.High-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion, it mainly applicable to make the silicone mould for cultural relic duplication , architectural decoration, resin crafts , lighting ornaments , candles , statues mold design, product exploitation etc.
Instruction for using silicone rubber for mold making to make molds.
Step 1:preparing mold.
Once you have your model to mould you need to build a box from wood/acrylic to contain the silicone and get a good covering over your model , the size and shape of this container is totally depends on shape of the model , remembering to leave plenty room surrounding the model so that you will have a strong wall thickness (at least 20mm)
Note:small models can be cast in sourced containers like tins , ice buckets , cake tins, etc
