Cottonseed hull is the by-product of oil extraction from cotton seeds. A protein-rich feed, cottonseed hull is a common source of protein for ruminants, notably in cotton-producing areas such as India, China and the USA, where it is used as a partial substitute for soybean meal.
Several methods are used to extract cottonseed oil, resulting in different types of cottonseed hull. This situation is slightly different from that of other major oilseeds such as soybean and sunflower, where one process is usually dominant. As a result, there is a wide range of cottonseed hull differing on there protein, fiber and oil content.
Cotton seed hulls are waste of cotton seed and they are used as animal feed in different parts of the world.
We have strong supplying ability for Cotton seed hulls in very big quantity for a continuous basis.we can guarantee an assured supply .Quality,Packing & shipment is totally guaranteed from our side.
Ours is one of the integrated units where we are procuring cotton directly from the farmers.
We do de- linting in a most scientific way by using state-of-the art modern machineries. The seeds are arriving directly from our own ginning cleaned properly before we start the processing. When we are starting the process the moisture of the seed will be <15% this will enable us to de- lint the seed properly. We are processing and take 3 cuts of linters. After de linting the seed we are processing the seed through using discdecorticator in the huller machine.
This is one of raw materials for Feed. This will replace the shortage of Bran and Paddy and wheat straw. Our Production Capacity will be 50Mt per day depends up on requirement we can increase the capacity.
Cotton seed hulls are the outer coverings of cotton seeds, and the by-products of the dehulling necessary for cotton seed oil extraction.
After removing the lint, the hulls are separated from the kernel by screening. Cotton seed hulls are a fibrous product, primarily used to feed ruminants.
Cotton seed hulls are fed as a bulk feed, or pelleted. They are sometimes mixed with cottonseed meal to create a higher density product that is easier to transport and handle.
Cotton seed hulls are one of the best roughages used to add bulk to diets rich in protein and energy, in order to reduce digestive upsets in ruminants.
Cotton seed hulls also have numerous industrial uses
â?¢ such as plastic manufacture,
â?¢ oil drilling (mud additive) and
â?¢ furfural production (a solvent used in plastic and synthetic rubber production and in petroleum refining).
Cotton seed Hulls is an essential commodity used in Mushroom farming.
Cotton seed hulls fit well into feedlot and dairy rations to complement high concentrate ingredients.
Available in loose or pelleted form, cotton seed hulls can also be fed to pasture cattle to limit intake of concentrates.
