Silt Dredge Hose

Dredging projects can be divided into several types, including capital construction dredging project for port and shipping lane construction, maintenance dredging to the operated port and shipping lane to guarantee enough navigation dimensions, environmental dredging for the silt cleaning of river, lake and sea, dredger filling projects to strength the coast protection or land reclamation. So silt dredge hose is need in these projects, which is mainly used for the suction and discharge of silt.

Silt dredge hoses, also called slurry dredge hose, are usually installed on the two sides of the dredge pump to suck and discharge silt. They are easy to install and remove due to the unique construction of flanges on the each end of hose. Silt dredge hose is very flexible and stable, and it can reduce the vibration caused by storm and water movement. It is highly resistant to abrasion and aging.

Silt dredge hose consists of tube, reinforcement and cover. The tube is made from the mixture of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, mainly EPDM, making the silt dredge hose resistant to abrasion, corrosion and aging. Reinforcement of silt dredge hose is made from multiple synthetic fabrics with spring helix steel w ire, making the hose have very high tensile strength and have the ability of absorbing shock and vibration. The cover is made from SBR, which makes silt dredge hose resistant to cut, abrasion, corrosion, weather, ozone, sunlight and aging.

Structure: silt dredge hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover.
Tube is made from the mixture of high quality EPDM and natural rubber, making the silt dredge hose resistant to abrasion and corrosion.
Reinforcement is made from spring helix steel wire with multiple synthetic fabrics, providing full vacuum, kink resistance and vibration dampening.
Cover is made from high quality SBR for abrasion, weather, ozone, aging and cut resistance or high quality neoprene for seawater, ozone and sunlight resistance.
Temperature range: -20 ¡ãC to +40 ¡ãC.
Inner diameter: 6" - 50" (152 mm - 1300 mm).
Outside diameter: 7-1/4" to 53-1/5" (182 mm - 1350 mm).
Working pressure: 0.5 MPa - 1.2 MPa.
Burst pressure: 1 MPa - 2.4 MPa.
