Barite powder is a finely ground form of the mineral barite, also known as barium sulfate (BaSO4). It's characterized by its high density (specific gravity of 4.2-4.6) and is chemically inert and insoluble. Barite powder finds applications in various industries, most notably as a weighting agent in drilling fluids for oil and gas exploration.
Our barite powder is finely ground and processed directly from our fresh mine in Laos. Based on the customer's requirements, Barite Quang Trung (QTI) is able to produce a wide variety of barite powder (4.2-4.4 SG).
Especially, we produce API-grade barite powder, tested by SGS. Our powder has high fineness and has a content of 93% BaSO4 or more, showing its purity with few residues.
