Mode of Action : Pseudomonas fluorescens is found to suppress the soil borne diseases caused by pathogens they are well adopted in soil and foliar spray, enhance plant growth and yield and reduced severity of diseases. Pseudomonas are antagonistic to foliar or rhizospheree bacteria and fungi through the production of siderophores and antibiotics. They help in uptake of nutrient and also produce plant growth promoting substances. Iron chelating siderophore antibiotic, hydrogen cyanide and lytic enzymes (Cellulase, Chitnase and protease) produced by pseudomonas are directly involved in the reduction of plant pathogen and induce plant resistance.

Method of Application and Dosage :

Seed Treatment :Mix 8 -10 gm. PHASAL RAKSHAK In 50 ml of water and applied on 1 kg of seed uniformly. Shade dry the seeds for 20 -30 minutes before sowing.

Seedlings Treatment : Dissolve 500 gm. W.P PHASAL RAKSHAK in 50 lit. of water, Dip seedling root for about half an hour in The suspension and transplant immediately.

Nursery Seed Bed Preparation : Mix 500 gm. PHASAL RAKSHAK in 10 kg of well decomposed FYM/compost/Vermicompost and broadcast in 400 Sq.mt. areas, incorporate in soil up to15 -20 cm depth.

Drip Irrigation : Mix 1 -2 kg W.P PHASAL RAKSHAK in 100 lit. of water and drench the soil in 1 acre

Horticulture/Vegetable Crops Mix 500 gm. W.P PHASAL RAKSHAK in 100 lit .of water and drench the soil near the root zone up to 15 -20 cm depth for collar rot control with high volume sprayer without Nozzler or big Nozzler.

How to Use: - 1) Add 1 capsule to 1 ltr of boiled -cooled Water in Bottle, close the cap, shake the bottle well till capsule get totally dissolved in water and leave the solution for 15 minutes.

2.a) Add this solution to required quantity of water and spray (foliar spray) it directly on the plants.

2.b) ADD this solution to required water & mix with FYM or 40-50 kg sand and then broadcast into the soil at the time of sowing or at the time of irrigation in standing crop.

2.c) ADD this solution to 200 ltr of water and apply per acre through drip or drenching it to plants for soil treatment.

Shakri Pseudomonas contains the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens. Spores of Pseudomonas fluorescens controls root and rots caused by Schlerotina and Rhizoctonia, Damping off caused by pythium, Blights/ leaf spots caused by Alternaria, Ascochyta, Cercospora, Macrophomina, Myrothecium & Ramularia, Downy mildews and Powdery mildews and Fungal diseases. When applied in the soil, the bacteria move towards the plant roots and grow profusely over the root surface. It then enters the vascular streams, reach the leaves and act as a systemic biocontrol agent against diseases. The bacteria produces antibodies. Once it grows over the root surface, it acts as a shield against the invading plant pathogens. Further, it secretes several plant growth substances, and these gibberelin û like compounds contribute to vigorous growth of the plant.

Dosage & Direction :

i)Seed or Seeding root treatment : Mix Shakti Pseudomonas at the rate 20gms in 1Lt of water. Soak the seeds or root of seedlings for 30 minutes, before sowing or planting.
ii)Soil application : Mix 2 to 4kgs of Shakti Pseudomonas with required quantity of organic manure or farm yard manure or vermicompost for 1 acre (250kgs to 500kgs).
After mixing leave the mix in a covered, dry and cool place for 24 or within 10 to 15 days after sowing or planting.
iii)Folier Application : Mix Shakti Pseudomonas at the rate 10gms in 1Lt of water, with the required quantity of water for 1 acre or mix 1kg in 120 Liters of water and spray evenly on the foloage. Also drench the soil near the root zone of the plant.
The first spray can be done between 30 to 45 days after sowing or planting. The spray can be repeated once 20 to 30 days depending upon the presistance of the disease.

Mode of Action :The fungus Ampelomycesquisqualis is a naturally occurring hyper parasite of W.P.y mildews. This parasitism reduces growth and may kill the mildew colony, the micro parasite directly penetrate the walls of hypahe, conidiophores and immature cleastothesia, but may be unable to infect mature cleastothesia. Approximately in 7 -10 days, microparasites spread within the hyhae the mildew colony without killing it. Thereafter, the process of pycnidial formation begins and complete within 2 – 4 days, infected cells generally die soon after pycnidial formation begins. Repeated applications of the micro parasite are generally necessary and high humidity and rain fall aid in spread to developing mildews colonies. In adverse climatic condition i.e. low humidity & low temperature /pycnidial which will be produced from the infected mildew are more resistant and persist in the environment for relatively long period at least into next season. These in turn may give rise to viable spore when condition becomes favorable again.

Mode of Action :It is highly effective natural occurring entomopathogenic fungus that parasites several insects of crops, Beauveria bassiana infects all stages of insect, including eggs, larvae, pupae, grubs, nymphs, hoppers and adult. The spores attached to insect cuticle, germinate and penetrate into the insect body. The hypahe through enzymes action, proliferate insect body and cause mortality through a combination of chemical, mechanical, water loss and nutrient loss effects. The insect body ultimately gets covered with mycelium and spores. Certain toxins are produced by this fungus and cause the mortality of insect.

Mode of Action :
It infects all the stages of insects.The spores of Verticillium lecanii get attached to the cuticle of insects on contact. The fungus gains entry through the cuticle by enzymes. It infects insect by producing hyphae from germinating spores that penetrate the insect cuticle/integument. The fungus than destroy the internal body content resulting in the mortality of insects by combination of chemical, mechanical, water loss and nutrient loss effect.. The fungus grows on cuticle produce certain toxin dipicloinic acid and bassianolide which cause mortality.

Mode of Action : Bacillus subtilis is a rhizospheree and phyllosphere colonizing bacterium. These are proven bacterial and fungal antagonize that protect plants from diseases. They are able to control several soil borne, seed borne and air borne crop diseases caused by fungus belong to deuteromycetes, oomycetes, ascomycetes and bacterial plant pathogens. Because Bacillus subtilis forms spores, pesticide products containing this bacturanium are stable. Therefore, even if treated seeds are stored for prolonged period, the bacteria stay alive and then grow and multiply after the seeds are planted.

Bacterial and fungal antagonism is due to nutrient composition on the site of exclusion, colonization of bacteria on fungal pathogen and release of cell content during growth to eliminate the fungal pathogen in immediate environment.
