Three pieces body, blow-out proof stem, antistatic device, fire-safe designed and certified, double block and bleed, self relieving. Execution could be full bore or reduced bore, and materials can be carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloys resilient or metal seated
These have the ball mounted on trunnions supported in body bearings above and below the ball. sealing is achieved by spring loaded piston type seats which shut off flow when line pressure acts on the upstream seat. This design provides automatic rilief of cavity overpressure.
