Series EZ (L) slurry pump has complete model range and are characterized by wide performance cover and easy selection.
Application
Series EZ (L) slurry pumps are widely used in power, metallurgy, mining, coal washery, building materials and chemical industries. They are suitable for handling high abrasive and corrosive slurry with maximum concentration by weight to be 45% (ash) and 60% (ore), such as handling the fine ore and tailings in mining, removing ash and sludge in power plant, delivering coal mud and heavy media separation. The pump of this series can be operated in series according to special requirements.
Structure:
Series EZ (L) slurry pump is classified into horizontal type (EZ) and vertical type (EZL) according to their structure. The discharge diameters of horizontal pump vary from 350mm, 300 mm, 250mm 200mm, 150mm, 100mm, 80mm, 65mm, 50mm to 40mm etc. Different impeller diameters are designed for different discharge sizes to get different heads.
In order to meet the requirements of the market£¬Excellence Pump Industry Co., Ltd. Develops series EVZ sump slurry pump, which are different from traditional sump pump with single casing and open impeller. They are of the double casings and closed impeller. Series EVZ pump could work under the condition of bigger capacity and higher head with higher efficiency and the traditional ones could only deal with smaller capacity and lower head with lower efficiency.
If the work condition requests, the suction pipe could be added. The pipe length would be selected according to the clients¡¯ requirement. In that case, packing seal should be kept and the shaft seal water should be added. The pressure of shaft seal water should be a little higher than that of discharge side.
Design
Series EZ (L) is single-stage and single-suction centrifugal pump. This series of pump have great innovation in both hydraulic and structural design. The wet parts are made of self-developed high Chrome alloy with high performance of anti-resistance. They are with features of high efficiency, energy-saving, long lifetime, light weight, reasonable structure, reliable operation, little vibration, low noise and easy maintenance etc.
Material advantage
The main wear parts in slurry pump are wet parts. Excellence Pump Industry Co., Ltd. uses many kinds of anti-abrasive material to extend the lifetime of wet parts. The wet parts material in standard series EZ (L) pump is high Chrome alloy KmTBCr26, which is a kind of anti-resistant white iron and has excellent performance under erosive conditions. But in order to meet different requirements, Excellence Pump Industry Co., Ltd. can also offer other wet parts materials, such as EPDM, Hapalon, Hastealloy, CD4MCU and other anti-abrasive material. The casing adopts double-casing structure, which makes the wet parts easy to be replaced. According to the pressure requirements, the outer casing uses ductile cast iron or grey cast iron, and the wet parts adopts high Chrome alloy or cast steel.
Shaft Seal
Series EZ (L) slurry pump can adopt centrifugal seal with packing seal, packing seal and mechanical seal.
(1) Centrifugal seal with packing seal
Centrifugal seal make use of the pressure from impeller and expeller running in series with the packing or lip seal to prevent the leakage. When the pressure at the suction is less than 10% of that at the discharge side for single stage pump or the first stage of the pumps in series, this kind of seal can be adopted. It can run without flush water, and has the advantages of not diluting the slurry and good sealing effect etc. It will increase the power consumption (usually increase 5% of the shaft power).
(2) Packing seal
Packing seal is a common seal type and can be used in various work conditions, including high corrosive and high temperature conditions. The packing materials can be PTFE, asbestos or other special materials. It has advantages of simple structure and easy maintenance.
(3) Mechanical Seal:
It adopts the international leading seal technology to achieve good sealing effect. Cartridge structure makes it easy to install and replace. And different structures are suitable different work conditions. The material of faces can be high-hardness ceramics and alloy. The design and the match of mechanical seal and seal box conform to the medium flow conditions, so this kind of seal is with higher performances of anti-abrasive and anti-vibration, which can satisfy the clients¡¯ different requirements under various hard work conditions.
