This type of single-phase electronic multi-tariff prepayment energy meter is an active meter with the data exchange method of numeric medium. The user can load the amount which purchase in advance, make the statement by amount. This meter was equipped with numeric keyboard interface used to active energy metering and prepayment control. Besides, this meter also have infrared communication, RS485 or RS232 communication, metering components, real-time-clock device, load controlling switch and other auxiliary equipment.

2.Advance purchase quantity, preset maximum load-limit and IC card password. IC card transfers data and realizes data including total consumption, remaining quantity, accumulated quantity and total purchases etc.) backward reading.
3.Storage of leave-factory serial number, meter constants, initial data and the user's name and address etc..
4.Alarm and switch off when overload. Alarm at low remaining power to remind user of timely purchasing.
