Pentazole, a fungicide, is currently the most active triazocyclic fungicide and an inhibitor of sterol demethylation. Colorless crystal, melting point 57.6-60.3â??, vapor pressure 0.37mPa at 20, density 1.30(20â??). Solubility (25) : 73mg/L in water, 730g/L in ethanol, 770g/L in propanol, 610g/L in toluene, 22g/L in hexane, 400g/L in octanol. pKa1.51. It is stable to hydrolysis and below 350â??. It is absorbed through the active tissues of crops such as roots, stems and leaves, and can be quickly conducted upward in the plant body along with the body fluids. The results of indoor activity determination and field efficacy tests show that it is highly effective against white rot of grapes, and also has good control effects on leaf spot disease, black star disease, anthracnose and powdery mildew. Mode of action: Systemic bactericidal, with therapeutic, protective and eradicating effects. Mechanism of action: Inhibits sterol demethylation and plays a role during the germination and invasion of fungal spores. Control targets: Pathogenic bacteria of the genus Melanoderma in the family Albicarbonaceae, as well as other pathogenic sporomycetes, basidiomycetes and deuteromycetes. Especially the above-mentioned pathogenic bacteria on pumpkins, grapes, pins, ornamental plants and vegetables.
Selective herbicide, absorbed mainly by the shoots and secondarily by the roots of germinating plants.
Used pre-emergence or pre-plant to control annual grasses, certain annual broad-leaved weeds and yellow nutsedge in maize (at 3 kg/ha), peanuts, soya beans, cotton, potatoes and sugar cane.
Mode of Action :
It infects all the stages of insects. The spores of Verticillium lecanii get attached to the cuticle of insects on contact. The fungus gains entry through the cuticle by enzymes. It infects insect by producing hyphae from germinating spores that penetrate the insect cuticle/integument. The fungus than destroy the internal body content resulting in the mortality of insects by combination of chemical, mechanical, water loss and nutrient loss effect.. The fungus grows on cuticle produce certain toxin dipicloinic acid and bassianolide which cause mortality.
Target Insects :Effective against all soft body sucking insect like Aphids, Thrips, Mealy bugs, White fly, Jassid, Hoppers, Scales and all types of Mites.
Method of Application and Dosage :
Foliar Spray : Mix VERTIFIRE-L 7.5 gm. 10 gm. lit. of water, stir well to form uniform suspension and Spray immediately on the target pest during early morning or evening hours by using high volume spray cover both sides of the leaves with spray solution.
Compatibility:
Don’t mix with any chemical fungicide.
Alternate spray with chemical insecticides, fungicides, botanical insecticides may be applied.
Avoid usage during high temperature.
Always use in evening time.
Safe to human, mammals, animals, predators and parasites.
Acetochlor is a pre-emergence herbicide inhibiting the synthesis of plant protein. Applied in fields of maize, cotton. Peanut and soybean to control annual grass family weeds and some broadleaf weeds.
