It is commonly used in bakery goods, dairy products, and processed meats, as well as in beverages and sports drinks. It also has industrial applications like used inthe production of fungicides and in nutrient solutions, special fertilizers, non-linear optical material for laser applications, and wastewater purification. It is employed as a buffering agent in pH calculations, paper processing, pharmaceuticals, urinary acidifiers, baking powder, and food products.
