A fiber optic connector is used to connect two fiber optic cables and consists of an adapter assembly and two plugs.The LC fast connector is a push-pull connector, similar to the SC connector, except that it has a locking tab.

Field Assembly Optical Connector(FAOC) is a perfect solution for field working and FTTH connection .
It is widely used for where need to quick connection , providing a quick assembly and stable
performance . When engineers work in field for installation , maintenance , repair of optical fiber , or
FTTH indoor terminate , they can use it easily because it has no epoxy , no polishing . The SC type is
available with 250/900um buffed fiber, 2.0mm,1.6mm x 2.0mm, 2.0mm x 3.0mm and 3.0mm jacket cable.
The universal type connector is also available, which is suitable for all of the 250/900um, 2mm and 3mm,
2.0mm x 3.0mm cable diameter.

LC(Stands for Lucent Connectors) fiber optic connector, which now also widely used in fiber optic device and telecommunications. LC connectors' shape similar with SC fiber optic connector, but the size only half of SC fiber connector. SC fiber connector use 2.5 mm ferrule, while the LC connectors use 1.25 mm ferrule.
Lucent Technologies first developed the LC connector for use in Telcoenviroments.
