Totapuri mango pulp is extracted from fresh, mature, and selected ripened totapuri mango fruits. Totapuri mangoes are primarily cultivated in Andhra Pradesh. The totapuri mango is also grown in the region of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Totapuri mango is golden yellow and easily recognized by its beak-like pointed end.

Totapuri mango is the same family of magnifera indica. It is rich is flavor and aroma. The color of the skin is distinctively different from other varieties.

The fruit is widely grown in the south of India due to ideal climatic conditions. Being cheaper in cost in comparison with the alphanso, it has a higher demand.


The usage of totapuri pulp and concentrate is similar to that of the alphanso mango. Ice cream and juice manufacturing companies have a great demand for this procudt. Due to the cost factor it is popularly used in yogurts, jams, sauces, smoothies and baby food products.

Natural totapuri, alphonso mango pulp, with min 14 brix for totapuri and 17 brix for alphanso pulp with acidity and viscosity well maintened for international standard.

Totapuri mangoes are oblong with prominent beak in shape and about 6-8 inches long. There is a central large seed surrounded by the pulp, which ranges from pale to bright yellow. The mango has a rich aromatic flavour and is delicious in which sweetness and acidity are delicately blended. It is a good source of vitamin A and C.

Totapuri Mango pulp/puree is extracted from sound, mature and ripe Totapuri mangoes by mechanical process and packed aseptically or hot packed in cans under hygienic conditions

MICROBIOLOGICAL STATUS:
Totapuri mango pulp is free from any pathogenic bacteria Aseptic and canned products are commercially sterile.

PACKAGING:
Totapuri mango pulp is a packed in aseptic bags of 215 kgs capacity in open top steel drum. Canned product is packed in A-10 size can hermetically sealed and retorted six can are packed in 5 ply carton provided with separator

RECOMMEND STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Totapuri mango pulp can be stored at ambient temperature. Higher temperature and sunlight should be avoid to enhance shelf life.
