Ferrous fumarate is a type of iron that's used as a medicine to treat and prevent iron deficiency anaemia. Iron helps the body to make healthy red blood cells which carry oxygen around the body.

5. Performance: orange-red to reddish-brown powder. Relative density 2.435 . Solubility in water at 25 'C is 0.14g/100ml , less than 0.01g/100ml in ethanol , odorless and tasteless.
6. Uses: A safe and efficient organic nutritional iron supplement, which belongs to organic acid iron (including: iron lysine, iron glycinate, iron methionine, etc.), and its organic divalent iron content is as high as 30% or more. After ferrous acid is absorbed, the divalent iron ion is easier to decompose, and it does not require additional energy to enter the red blood cells, does not stimulate the stomach, can improve and maintain the normal level of heme, can be used as a nutritional additive for a long time, and is clinically used for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia.
8. Storage and transportation: It should be stored in a dry, ventilated and clean warehouse, lightly packed, and protected from moisture and heat. During transportation, it should be protected from rain and moisture, and it should be stored separately from toxic substances .
Iron(II) fumarate, also known as ferrous fumarate, is the iron(II) salt of fumaric acid, occurring as a reddish-orange powder, used to supplement iron intake. It has the chemical formula C4H2FeO4. Pure ferrous fumarate has an iron content of 32.87%, therefore one tablet of 300 mg iron fumarate will contain 98.6 mg of iron (548% Daily Value based on 18 mg RDI).
