Prefabricated suspension clamps are designed to protect ADSS (All Dielectric Self Supporting) cables from sloshing caused by wind currents. Suspended clamps are widely used in transmission lines, towers or power distribution systems.
The distance between the two towers is called the span. For short spans, prefabricated suspension clamps with O-rings are often used. This kind of suspension clamp has the characteristics of lightest weight, convenient installation, and can protect ADSS optical cable more effectively.
For mid-span and long-span, there is also a prefabricated suspension clamp that is aluminum-clad. The Armor Clip Suspension connects with U-Clips to hang cables. Aluminum-clad suspension clamps support and protect ADSS fiber optic cables from bending damage.
According to the span, the short span adopts single suspension clamp, and the long span adopts double suspension clamp.
