Botanical Name :- Hedychium spicatum
Description :-
Kapoor Kachri oil is obtained from the new grow leaves of ginger plant; it is also called spiked ginger lily oil. Hedychium spicatum is a smallish ginger that grows to around 1 m; it has green leaves and big orange and white flowers.
Extraction:-
Kapoor Kachri oil is obtained by process of Steam Distillation of Roots.
Properties:-
Its Aroma is warm woody, slightly spicy, slightly sweet smell.
Constituents:-
The major chemical constituents present in Kappor Katcheri essential oil are limonene, cineole, terpinene, linalool, p-cymene, terpeneol and phellandrene.
USES:-
It is very effective in treating gastric ulcer, fever, intestinal infections, abdominal pain, blood purification, eye diseases and hypertension.
It aids in treating pain, inflammation, arthritis and rheumatic problems.
