Triisopropanolamine is used as an absorbent of acid gases in the refinery of natural gas. It is used as an emulsifying agent solube in water and low alkalinity. It is used as a crosslinking catalyst in the production of polyurethanes. It is also used as a component of insecticide, surfactants, rubber chemicals, corrosion inhibitors and dyes.
