The Xaar 502 GS15 OR can be used as a replacement to Xaar 500/80 printheads (discontinued). An ICM (Interface connection module) enables X500/80 based printers to communicate with Xaar 502 printheads. The ICM requires a waveform loaded onto it by Xaar. In many cases, the ink system of the Xaar 500/80 based printer will also need some modification as Xaar 500 printheads has 4 ink feeds whereas Xaar 502 printheads have 1 ink feed). Our engineer team can help implementing these changes to migrate existing printers from 500/80 to 502 printheads.

The Xaar 1003 Ceramics printhead family introduces an important new feature the XaarGuard which provides the ultimate in nozzle plate protection, and coupled with other design innovations, achieves the longest maintenance-free production runs in the industry once per shift, or less. In addition, the new Xaar 1003 GS6C provides a step forward inconsistent print quality across the wide print widths used for large tile, thanks to Xaarâ??s Tuned Actuator Manufacturing.

The Xaar 1003 GS6C printhead is fully backward compatible with Xaar 1002C and 1001C based ceramic printers.
