Product Description - Cinnamon bark oil is extracted from the outer bark of the Ceylon cinnamon plant by steam distillation. Oil is reddish-brown in colour. Cinnamon bark oil is considered to be expensive compared to leaf oil since they are extremely refined.

Due to its high content of cinnamaldehyde, Cinnamon bark oil should be diluted with a carrier oil when applied to the skin. A maximum dilution of 0.1% is recommended for topical applications.
