Cotton yarn is a type of yarn made from cotton fibers. It is one of the most commonly used natural fibers in the textile industry due to its softness, breathability, and versatility.
Types of Cotton Yarn
Cotton yarn can be classified based on different factors:
a. Based on Fiber Length:
Combed Cotton Yarn: Made from long fibers, smoother, stronger, and less prone to fraying.
Carded Cotton Yarn: Made from shorter fibers, less uniform, and cheaper.
Compact Cotton Yarn: More compact spinning process, reduced hairiness, better strength.
b. Based on Processing:
