Coramate
The coramate is an automated computerized and battery operated large core soft tissue biopsy systems, mainly to be used in the early detection of breast cancer. The working range is between 8 and 12 gauge. The direct frontal uptake of the tissue sample makes this procedure extremely effective in making a complete diagnosis without any patient discomfort. The quality of the sample is exquisite. The costs per biopsy are the lowest compared to the other vacuum aspiration biopsy devices. The unique concept of rotatational cutting on a cutting helix makes this device the first choice for early diagnosis of clinical lesions, ultrasound guidance and mri guidance.
The system is ce and fda approved since 2006.
