As Compared to 34.8â??C and 24â??C of ambient air temperature, respectively. That the solar dryer has reduced the initial moisture content (56-62% on wet basis) of various products to safe moisture content (4-7%) by taking 30% less time (table 1) than the traditional sun drying for copra drying, 48 hours time saving was observed with the observed use of Solar Dryer.
