Colloidal Silica can be used to create an anti-slip surface on paper and packing materials .It provides higher coefficient of friction make easier of stacking of finished products .When used to coat inkjet and photo paper the colloidal silica particles fill in to porous surface coating that readily accepts water -based inks .However colloidal silica is a most needed ingredients in the â??wet endâ?? phase of paper manufacturing .
