BJ195DCE DC Energy Meters are mainly used to
measure the energy consumption for different load
connected to it. DC energy consumption for the loads
like telecom BTS (Base Transceiver Stations), solar
panel and any applications need DC power parameter
monitor. The meter calculated energy data by
connecting appropriate shunts in the loads circuit. The
voltage drop across shunt is fed to DC energy meter
input terminals. The millivolts across shunts are
converted into current depending upon the shunt ratio
used in circuit.
The DC Energy Meter is a micro-controller based product that measures DC voltage and
currents, power, energy data and displays them on a 7-Segment five digital LED display
with auto scrolling. Blue Jay can set the parameters of DC energy meter from the
customer request.
As the world wide aim is necessary to reduce the power consumption and optimization the
use of available power/energy supplies. The application of smart energy meters are seen
as ideal solutions by providing monitoring the energy consumption in an accurate manner.
BLUE JAY DC current panel meters with a DC
signal conditioner board combine high accuracy with
high read rate and a wide range of isolated output
options for computer interface and control. Accuracy
is 99.99% of full scale ±1 counts
DC ammeter operation provides four full-scale
current ranges 5.00A with 25mA resolution. The
5.000 A range measures can connect current shunt to
expand the measure range.. All current and ranges
are factory calibrated, without recalibrating the meter.
External current shunts are fully supported. Scaling is 75 mV - 5A, more than 5A will set transformer ratio
from the front panel of the meter. The scalable readout is four full digits up to 9,999 counts. Shunt is
remotely located for direct sensing. This allows the current carrying wires to take a more direct path to the
batteries and alleviates the need to route them through the meter case.
