Application:
GC RTV silicone G-8 series are great for artificial stone casting. They are widely used for architectural elements, block-outs & hole former, concrete counter tops, flexible form liners, GFRC, manufactured stone veneer, ornamental precast & statuary, stamped & textured concrete, etc.
Operation Method:
Both pouring and brushing operation methods for our artificial stone casting silicone are available. You can choose the best one as your preference, we can provide thixotropic agent for brushing.

What is the hardness should I choose?
Normally 20~40 Shore A will be the best, but it also should according to your size and pattern design.
Warm Tips:
The surfaces with which the material comes in contact must be perfectly clean, free of grease and dry.
Close the bottles after use so as not to confuse the cap of the catalyst with that of the base when re-sealing.
Be aware of possible cross-contamination; it's highly recommended to use only dedicated gear when processing poly-addition RTV2 silicone rubber (including degassing devices).
Be aware that contact with certain material can inhibit the curing of the RTV2 poly-addition silicone rubber. Common contaminants to be avoided include:
-Natural or synthetic rubber, vulcanized with sulphur derivatives.
-Poly-condensation RTV catalyzed with metallic salts.
-PVC stabilizing agents.
-Amine cured epoxies.
-Sulphur, tin and amines derivatives.
-In case of doubt, carry out a small test by pouring the mixture onto a small area of the object.

Liquid molding silicone rubber/ (RTV) silicone rubber description

Tin-based silicones, also called condensation-cure silicones, are two-component materials which cure at room temperature(RTV)to flexible, high tear-strength rubbers. Tin cured silicones can be poured onto models or they can be made brushable by adding a thixotropic additive. They are ideal for molds where easy release or high temperature resistance is required. Tin cured silicones can be used for casting polyurethane, epoxy and polyester resins, waxes, all gypsum products and low-temperature metals. Our tin-cured silicone systems are the most economical. They are best used for casting resins and low melt metals.

platinum silicone rubber is a kind of addition cure silicone non-toxic, odorless. Its liquid rtv2 silicone rubber, part A and B 1:1 or 10:1, the mixture will be vulcanize in room temperature.

4. Operation Instruction
Step 1: prepare the original molds
Make sure your original molds perfect. fix it on a board. And fix the original mold on a board , then used four piece of board to enclose the original molds .

Step 2: Take 100 G parts A and add 100G parts B and mix them evenly.

1.Weigh the two part exactly by electronic weight..

2.Mix part A and part B evenly.
Otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified and this will give birth to difficulties in your final operation. Whats
more, the finished molds will meet a short life. All of these will cause a waste of silicon rubber.

Step 4: Pouring casting or Brush operation
Notes:1. For simple pattern products we suggest use pouring operation way , which will be very easy to operate and demould. Pourable silicone require light viscosity which will be easy to flow smoothly and easy to de-air .
2.For delicate pattern products we suggest use brushing operation way , which can copy the pattern exactly . Brushable silicone require high viscosity which wont be easy to flow away and easy to brush .
3. We suggest to set the silicone mold for another 12 hours after demould before put into large production .
