Brown aluminum oxide crystals is made of bauxite/anthracite coal, and smelted in electric-arc furnace of high temperature more than 2000degrees.Abrasives tools made by brown fused alumina are suitable for metal with high tensile (like:steel, malleable iron, bronze etc).and suitable for grinding, polishing, blasting, precision casting etc.Brown aluminum oxide crystal is also used for refractory material. Brown fused alumina is manufactured in electric arc furnace, using bauxite as raw material. High hardness and toughness, it is an important raw material of abrasive and refractory industries. It can be used for belt, ceramic, coated, high-grade, and organic abrasives.

The product can be used as abrasive and refractory material. The abrasive tools made by brown fused alumina are suitable for grinding carbon steel, normal alloy steel, malleable cast iron and hard bronze, etc. Brown fused alumina can also be used for making fine quality refractory.

Brown aluminium oxide has high toughness. Micro hardness is 1800-2200kg/mm2, abrasive articles made of it are suited for grinding metals of high-tensile strength such as steel, annealed malleable iron and hard high-class refractory products.
