Properties: 
Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate is in white powder or granular. Relative density 2.534 g/cm3 and melting point 1109°C; Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate is apt to absorb humidity in the open air to deliquescent; Soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol, and at 25°C,its solubility in water is 187g/100g water; Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate  can chelate with alkaline metals ions or heavy metal ions.

Usage:
Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate mainly applied to electroplating without cyanate, industrial or household detergents; It can used as a buffering reagent as well as stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide; It can also be used as dispersion agent for ceramic, clay, latex and pigments etc.

Storage and Transport:

Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate should be stored in a ventilative and dry warehouse instead of in the open air, kept away from water, moisture and sunlight during transport, handled with care, so as to avoid damage to plastic bags. Furthermore, Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
