MS ERW (Mild Steel Electric Resistance Welded) pipes are produced by forming cold-rolled mild steel strips into tubes and fusing the seam via high frequency electric resistance welding . Available in diameters from ½ to 24 with wall thicknesses between 1.8- 12.7-mm, they come in standard 6-m lengths (customizable) and black mill finish, with optional galvanized coating .
These pipes deliver excellent tensile (330- 410-MPa) and yield (210- 240-MPa) strength, plus dimensional accuracy, cost efficiency, and recyclability . They are widely used in construction, water & gas distribution, industrial framing, agricultural irrigation, and automotive structures.
