PropertiesHigh-grade fire clays can withstand temperatures of 1,775 C (3,227 F), but to be referred to as a "fire clay" the material must withstand a minimum temperature of 1,515 C (2,759 F).[2] Fire clays range from flint clays to plastic fire clays, but there are semi-flint and semi-plastic fire clays as well. Fire clays consist of natural argillaceous materials, mostly Kaolinite group clays, along with fine-grained micas and quartz, and may also contain organic matter and sulphur compounds.
Fire clay is resistant to high temperatures, having fusion points higher than 1,600 C (2,910 F); therefore it is suitable for lining furnaces, as fire brick, and for manufacture of utensils used in the metalworking industries, such as crucibles, saggars, retorts and glassware. Because of its stability during firing in the kiln, it can be used to make complex items of pottery such as pipes and sanitary ware.

Adsorbent for edible and non-edible oil. Bleaching earth is used in the refining of vegetable oils and animal fats for human consumption. The absorbent capacity of the bleaching earth removes the impurities and unwanted matter, such as colouring substances (carotenoids), soaps, proteins and others, found in oils and fats.

Drilling Grade (API Grades, OCMA)

Drilling-grade bentonite is a naturally occurring clay containing the clay minerals of smectite. It can also contain accessory minerals, such as quartz, mica, feldspar, and calcite. The Drilling Grade Bentonite Powder is used as a mud constituent for oil and water well drilling. Its roles are mainly to seal the borehole walls, remove drill cuttings, and lubricate the cutting head. Our Drilling Grade Bentonite Powder has high swelling and good colloidal nature, which can increase the viscosity of suspension in the drilling mud and also can increase the lubrication of drilling, as well as for the rig-freeing agent.

Piling Grade

Bentonite slurry is one of the most common excavation fluid used in constructing diaphragm walls. The gel strength and viscosity properties of the bentonite clay allow for cutting suspension and removal. Piling Grade Bentonite Powder is used traditionally as a support and lubricant agent in walls and foundations, tunnelling, and horizontal drilling. Viscosity and plasticity play a very important role. Bentonite slurry walls are used in construction, where the slurry wall is a trench filled with a thick colloidal mixture of Bentonite and water.

Our Feed Grade Bentonite is Natural & selected from affluent Mines of Kutch. This Bentonite is used as an animal feed supplement, as a palletizing aid in the production of feed pallets, as well as a flow ability aid. It slows the passage of feed through the digestive system increasing the uptake of nutrients. Bentonite has an affinity for some of the active elements of toxin products formed by bacteria in the digestive tract, and its application in feed allows more rapid weight gain of livestock.

 gcl is blanket shape fabric that is produced by filling sodium base bentonite with high expansion between special composite earthwork cloth and non-woven cloth and locking bentonite on lower composite fabric through upper non-woven cloth fabric by special needle embroidering method. Bentonite anti-seepage liner produced by needle embroidering method can form many small fiber spaces, which prevent bentonite particles from moving in one direction, rubber head water layer with uniform high density is formed in the liner when meeting water so as to prevent water seepage effectively.
