Pomelo(In Thai:"Som O") Pomelo is normally eaten fresh by itself but it also used in spicy salads. When eaten raw, it is often dipped in a mixture of salt, sugar and chili flakes.

Pomelo (Thong Dee) The flesh is succulent and has a delicious sour-sweet flavour. No bitter taste and sparkling. Color of flesh range from pinkish to light reddish. The skin is soft and easy to peel away.

Pomelo (Khao-Namphueng) The flesh is yellowish white colored and it taste sweet to slight sour. Good texture and weight no bitter taste and sparkling.

Pomelos or Pummelos are the largest of all citrus fruits. It prefers hot and humid tropical climates. It tolerates a wide range of soils from coarse sand to heavy clay, but deep, medium-textured, fertile soil free from injurious salts is preferred.

In Vietnam, there are many tasty varieties of pomelos but we focus on two varieties: Honey Pomelos and Pink Pomelos.
