The column mounted jib crane is composed by the vertical shaft, revolving arm, rotating shaft, hoist etc. The bottom of the vertical shaft is fixed on the concrete base.

Single girder overhead crane runs on an elevated runway system along the length of a factory, the hoist moves the load up and down, and the bridge of the crane moves the load forward and backward.
