This is all tyre factory rubber compound, having little semi curing. It maybe in form of lumps, sheets, loose etc. It is all natural base and have good technical specifications.
Uncured rubber deforms easily when it is warm and is brittle when cold. In its natural state, it does not exhibit the properties that make it a flexible, valuable material for many finished products. Curing, also known as vulcanization, causes the long polymer chains that rubber is composed of to become crosslinked.

Mode of action : calcium Oxide binds the moisture by the formation of calcium hydroxide, hence used as a desiccant to remove excessive moisture from rubber compounds CaO is preferably used in extrusion compounds which have to be cured continuously either in open air, like (fluid beds, salt baths) or in UHF curing process like (microwave units, and hot air channels), also used in the foamed compounds to improve the cell structure and surface finish of the end product. It can be effectively used in reprocessing of thermoplastic materials.
