Product Origin: Produced by coastal communities on Wagina Island, Choiseul Province, Solomon Islands. This product is providing sustainable income for villagers in this community, including women and children.

Key Features : Farmed in shallow lagoon waters for up to 12 weeks on ropes before harvested, then sun-dried for 4 to 5 days, bagged in 50kg bags and transported to Honiara (the capital city) to buyers who then export. The community farmers are looking at exporting directly, and hence the reason I get involved, as I am a farmer myself from the area, as well as a buyer. On average, the farmers can collectively produce 200 tonnes a month. We can start the export with 20% of the market share first.

User manual:

+ Prepare 1 bowl of clean water

+ Cut the bag of seaweed and soak it in a bowl of water for 2 minutes, then remove all the water in the bowl

+ Add clean water again, to remove the fishy smell of the sea

+ Add a little ice in the bowl, the seaweed will be cooler and crisper

+ Serve directly as a form of greens and dip with your favorite sauce

(Note: You should eat as much as you want, because the grapes will shrivel after 30 minutes or not stir-fry, cooking will make the freshness and crispiness of the grape seaweed)
