Wedge type wire clip is made up of C type wedge shell and wedge block( as picture show). The size of groove between C type wedge shell and wedge block is directly related to the diameter of conducting wire to be installed. The size and shape of wedge is deci-ded by the designer and manufacturer. Thererfore in choosing wedge type wire clip, the user may only offer the type and cross slectional size of maine traverse and spur traverse. See table 1 and table 2 for choic of wedge type wire clip.

JXLD series wedge clamp grounding clamp and insulation cover Application: Wedge clamps are for non-bearing connection or branching between aluminum stranded conductor, copper conudctor or steel core aluminum conductor in arieal insulation lines. The clamp works with insulation cover to offer insulation proetection. Installation Notes: The wedge clamp consists of a C-shaped wedge shell and a wedge, as shown in the figure, and the groove size between the C-type wedge and the wedge is directly related to the diameter of the conductor to be mounted. The groove size and shape are determined by the designer and the manufacturer. Therefore, to choose suitable wedge clamp, the user only need to provide conductort type and sizes of the main line and the branch line.
