DESCRIPTION
JS-9040 silicone elastomer blend is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane for use in skin care, hair care, color cosmetics, sun care, anti-perspirants and deodorants, and wound care applications.

HOW TO USE
JS-9040 Silicone Elastomer Blend may be formulated into o/w emulsions, w/si emulsions, w/o emulsions and anhydrous products.
The product is ready to use. Disperse the oil-phase into JS-9040 silicone elastomer blend using simple mixing. There is no need for post-shearing. Thickening of formulations can be achieved using a cold process.

DOSAGE
For oil-in-water emulsions, water-in- silicone emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, 15-30%
For anhydrous products, 80-90%

USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE
When stored in a cool, dry place in its original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
