China Clay, also known as Kaolin, is a naturally occurring white, soft clay primarily composed of the mineral kaolinite. It is formed through the weathering of feldspar-rich rocks, such as granite. Kaolin is chemically inert, has a low shrink-swell capacity, and is known for its fine particle size, whiteness, and soft texture.
Key Properties:
High brightness and whiteness
Fine particle size and smooth texture
Chemical stability and non-reactivity
Good plasticity and low shrink-swell ratio
Excellent dispersibility and suspension properties
