Please quote for the following wholesale product requirement -

Product: Feed Barley

Specifications:
Feed Barley: Fully matured, whole grains produced by the barley plant.
•
Impurities: Any material foreign to barley grains.
•
Damaged Grains: Barley grains or their parts that are affected by fungi, covered smut, bored or shriveled.
Physical and Chemical Specifications:
•
Grain Moisture Content:
o
Maximum acceptable moisture is 12%.
o
Accepted up to 14% with a price deduction of 1% for each percentage point above 12%.
o
Rejected if moisture exceeds 14%.
•
Bulk Density (kg/hl):
o
Minimum acceptable is 63 kg/hl.
o
Accepted down to 58 kg/hl with a 1% price deduction for each kg/hl below 63.
o
Rejected if bulk density is less than 58 kg/hl.
•
Impurities and Damaged Grains:
o
Maximum allowable: 5%.
o
Accepted up to 8% with a 1% price deduction for each percentage point above 5%.
o
Rejected if the percentage exceeds 8%.
•
Other Grains Suitable for Animal Feed:
o
Maximum allowable: 10%.
o
Rejected if it exceeds this percentage.
•
Pest-Free Requirement:
o
The product must be completely free of all live insects in all forms and stages, mold, and any foreign odors.
o
If the material contains no more than 5 live insects/kg (typical grain storage pests), it must be properly fumigated at the seller’s expense before entry through border checkpoints under the supervision of the Agricultural Quarantine and the Imported Fodder Sampling Committee.
o
Post-fumigation samples must be taken and examined by Agricultural Quarantine to ensure the product is free from live insects and larvae.
o
If the product is stored in the supplier’s warehouses, fumigation must be carried out by the supplier, with post-fumigation samples sent to the Central Laboratory to confirm absence of live pests and larvae.
