2. Description: Diesel fuel suitable for use in a variety of diesel engines, optimized for environmental standards and performance.
3. Sulfur Content: Less than 50 ppm (parts per million).
4. Density: Greater than 0.830 kg/m3 at 15 C.
5. Viscosity: Greater than 3.0 cSt at 40C.
6. Flash Point: Greater than 65C (149F).
7. Cetane Number: Minimum 45 indicative of the ignition quality of the diesel.
8. Cloud Point: Maximum -5 C the temperature below which paraffin wax in diesel starts to solidify, making it unsuitable for certain conditions.
9. Water & Sediment: Maximum 0.05% by volume ensures no contaminants or excess moisture that could harm the engine.
10. Distillation:
- 90% recovered at a temperature no greater than 360 C.
- End point: Maximum 370 C indicative of the distillation range for the majority of the fuel.
